Individual consultations of English Rhetoric

Are you looking for new ways to improve your English rhetorical skills but you wish to have individual classes? Do you have a prospect of new presentation and you are not sure how to grasp it? Do need togain a sense of orientation? Do you wish to enhance your presentations to the next level and you are looking for flexible and individual approach? Don’t worry, it is possible. The individual consultations of English Rhetoric or so called Rheto-coaching is for you.

Who is Rheto-coaching for?

The course is tailored for busy individuals whose schedule is too full to attend seminars or regular classes. The English level requirement for this course is at least B2, please. Because we will NOT focuson the grammar but rather on soft skills. The sessions are usually held in person in the student’soffice/workplace (but alternatively it can also be online via Teams or Skype or Google meets or any other preferred media).

What do you get out of Rheto-coaching?

Upon completing the 8 hour-block of individual consolations you will feel far more comfortable and competent in delivering your English presentations. It will carefully guide you through the process of preparing and structuring an effective and engaging presentation. And very importantly, after the course you will have to basic template of how to prepare your future presentations with more ease. The course will also provide you will essential exercises that will enable you to work on your improvement alone even after the course finishes and hence reach more long-lasting results in the field of public speaking. In our 8 sessions, we will be (possibly) working on the following topics and themes but the it depends on your preferences and priorities.

- How to become calm, balanced and centered during your presentations
- How to optimize the bodily tension before and during your performance
- How to adopt beliefs and attitudes of master presenters
- How to use diaphragmatic breathing in order to maximize the potential of your voice
- How to move and position yourself during your presentation
- How to structure your speech
- How to use your gestures and postures
- How to establish rapport with your audience
- How to use add colour to your voice
- How to structure your presentation so that you keep your audience engaged
- How to use embedded metaphors and nested loops
- How to use empathy and emotional intelligence to be a better rhetorician
- How to use your core principles and values to give presentation a form

Our usual package includes 30 min assessment + 8 hours combo. That includes 30 min entry consultation - assessment (free of charge/mostly held on line). The actual course consists of 8x 60 min (1490 CZK/hour) and the overall cost is 11920 CZK. The price to be invoiced after the entry consultation and before the course sets off. After the entry consultation it discussed if the course is appropriate for you.

Please, bear in mind that I am not a VAT (DPH) payer. Cancelling policy is 24 hours before the scheduled session or the session would be counted as taught. Under special and exceptional circumstances, leniency can be applied. 

Throughout the course you would be working on your 'sample' speech, which will be glued and pasted together based on his learning progress. This speech can be specific speech that you are soon to haveor training speech. It will incorporate the most important and vital ingredients of effective presentation. Hence, the aim of the course is to provide you with the 'know-how' to structure and tailor your speech aswell as having the final version of the presentation ready to deliver in the last session.

Mr Wichterle has been teaching classes of English rhetoric since 2010.
He puts a lot of emphasis on a firm structure of the presentation and he believes that with the right exercises and attitude everyone can significantly improve their public speaking skills. Karel’s exercises provide students with autonomy and support that foster their natural ability to be creative and spontaneous. Nevertheless, during his consultations is a persistent encourager of his students and believes that a true potential to become an eloquent rhetorical of can be found within us along our life journey. Mr Wichterle employs a student-centred approach and is very flexible when it comes to tailoring the consultation to each student’s individual needs.
